Ah c’mon… Life ain’t fair.

Although you don’t get things for free, meaning you must have done a million things right and worked hard for it so bless ya.

If you would have listed the BMW 645I and a Lotus 340R I would have suspected you of being Harry Metcalf (EVO Editor). He also bought a 550 Maranello recently… (check this months EVO)

Any plans on “acquiring” Vanquish, DB9 or AMV8 while you are at it ??? I saw both a brand-new AM Vanquish (think it was the S) and DB9 (both UK-registered and Right-hand drive) last week in Belgium. Made me do the silly thing of driving 20 miles behind them in the rain with heating on max and windows down with an outside temp of 4’C. Got a cold now because of it, but the sound of these 2 cars was just worth every second of it …

But still… One can only admire you and at the same time envy you … You have become my personal hero now …

GReetz,

Well… following the DB9, the Vanquish is looking a bit silly at that price… unless we’re talking the Vanquish S… which is a bit expensive for what it is… The AMV8 is nice, but only 400bhp ? In a relatively weighty car… Hmm. The DB9 is a possibility, would be a nice namesake… but future values are less than certain as it’s such an overcrowded market (911, Gallardo, F430, Continental GT etc)… I was bitten by the GT2, so I’m wary of buying a car that has a lot of depreciating to do.

The Gallardo is on my list, but that’s a bubble in the process of bursting. I’ll give it 6-12 months then get one I think.

Thanks for your nice comments

Hmm,

Don’t do that to me - I nearly fell off me chair laughing!

Share the joke, you know something I don’t.

Share the joke, you know something I don’t.

The chances of JohnO taking his Lambo on track are smaller than the smallest bit of the smallest thing in the Universe

Share the joke, you know something I don’t.

Sorry Adam, I was not laughing at you - Dad is right of course.

I’ve never had more than one at a time. I’m trying to work out whether having two would be a good thing. Sounds like a world of pain to me
