What a find!!!

Anyone know this car??? :sunglasses:

Wow - looks good! £POA worrying though…

One or two of these coming out of the woodwork recently. It seems tragically sad that they’ve hardly been used and, in all likelihood, will now find their way into the garage of some anally-retentive collector.

The other thought that crosses my mind is: “Has anyone lifted the (obviously OE) carpets to check for floor corrosion?”

If it has been kept inside I doubt it would have corroded. My car has never lived outside and has done less than 30,000 miles I guess and has zero corrosion on the floors.

Neither does my 300 year old house!

Worth a (UK) based call to find out what the ‘POA’ is!

I was a keen follower of Mr Ely’s S1 Exige offerings before I bought mine. especially a lazer blue model that he had on sale for ages.
Just browsing on his site i found this “gull-wing door” Elise . . .anyone ever come across such a thing before?

I wish I had your confidence!

fair comment I guess.

How many on here have had their floors replaced?

I believe that lovely car is now re-sprayed in Kawakasi Green mate!

Bloody hell! How much did you pay?
No need to answer, every credit for buying it.

Yep. very rough and ready roof produced by a company that makes GRP moulds for the construction industry. Very few made, almost as watertight as no roof at all

Had mine done under warranty … actually hardly any corrosion when they lifted the rubber mats, but they put the additional floor on top of the original with Sikoflex and sealed it anyhow … at least it was nice shiny new floor for a few hours …

Thommo!

I did not buy it mate… the previous owner did!

He then spent over 8k having the body off respray in Kawakasi Green

Sold it to me for less than that!
