went autocrossing last saturday

Pictures here, though there are none of my car on the course. I had five runs, including the very first run of the day, and I think I did pretty well considering I’ve never autocrossed before. My worst and best times were 60.4 and 51.2 seconds and the fastest time I heard of was 41.something.

A nice selection of motas!

I think we call that Sprinting in the UK.

Autocross is a rather more muddy and over powered affair over here. Lots of tweaked 600bhp+ Group B rally cars!

Sprinting, eh? I’ll remember that. Your version of autocrossing looks like a lot of fun.

Funny… our closest equivalent is Rallycross.

I didn’t see the black Corvette run, but the grey Camero was one of the fastest (and best sounding) cars that I saw. I was working the course while the Camero was running, so I didn’t see his times.
