Not used the Exige for months so decided to take the old girl out for an early morning Peak District soiree at the weekend. 
Wow what was that 
- loud noise at the rear end at a rather unacceptable speed - pulled over expecting the worst 
Fan belt had partially given up but the broken section was acting as a flayle - knackered the rear bulkhead liner and severed part of the wiring loom - cut off the remaining part of the belt (as a longstanding Lotus owner and former boy scout - always prepared 
) and journeyed home - 5 hours later Exige was back in rude health and we are now reconciled
