I did not tell Steph I was getting the wheels as I knew she did not like them anyway.
I kind of figured she might not notice, which was a slightly risky policy
After riding in it all afternoon yeasterday and all morning today, shortly after lunch she stopped while walking away from the car and remarked…
“oh my god, you put those shit wheels on, what a mess, it looks bloody awful”
Then she walked off with a face on. I did try the quite shocked look with an “oh no they must of put the wrong wheels back on at the dyno” line but that did not go down too well
So I told her they were a bargain at �500 and tried to explain how that with driver training and these wheels I would be the next Lewis Hamilton.
The old bargain �500 Chestnut , I used that one last week , she will cool off , just go into one about her new shoes and hair costs , I find that works as a counter attack .
I’ve given up trying to smuggle Exige spending past Mrs T so this year I tried this tack;

�I wonder if we could fit the fridge freezer in the there�?

Family builder in and now she has a sparkling new utility room with a more spacious kitchen.
