A friendly place with an emphasis on quality not quantity
Hi Guys,
Just a little background. Run a Motorsport specialist based in Kidderminster, Lotus obviously features highly, (not here just to drum up business) we specialise in Geo mainly and have some of the most sophisticated kit in the UK.
I’m also making a return to Motorsport this year after about 4years away lastly competing in Seat Cupra Cup on TOCA in 08. We have just brought a 2014 spec Clio Cup so funding pending (it’s tough out there) we should be out at Brands, feel free to come have a look around if any of you frequent a BTCC meeting.
Look forward to getting stuck in on Exiges.com after lurking for a while!
Regards,
Dan
Cheers Dan and thank you for the transparency; I am sure the forum will appreciate your experience and expertise.
It’s a friendly place with much banter and don’t underestimate the level of Lotus experience should you have some questions
Welcome Dan, good to have you here
Thanks,
Yea seems like a knowledgeable place. Unlike some places on the net these days!
Thanks Jonny.
Love your build, I have a 111R (I know) it will have Exige clams one day! It was supercharged but your NA build has made me push forward with one myself, trying to get an ITB system produced with Jenvey at the moment as they are so local… good times!
Welcome to Exiges.com Dan
Dan did anything ever come of unlocking the Lotus ECU? I’ve ditched mine but I was just nosing around on Seloc and saw your replies to Turbophils thread.
interested buddy, give me a shout, I’ll pop over…I’d be all over THAT
I’ll let you know when I have some prototypes on the car, should be soon… It will be awesome!
Yea we have the Fast work’s software, dealer package… The ECU’s are a doddle, the T4 is working but we are still learning the ropes with it. It’s a harder system to tune, but it does allow us to add an IT sensor into the older cars for some protection… hopefully we can map the ITBs on it, but who knows. The control Fastworks gives is impressive, T4e is as good a some standalone with the benefits of OEM drivability.
Thanks,
Brilliant, I’ll bring the biscuits that’s some great stuff you have going on, you’ll have to post something up about your progress. I’ve only seen one car run ITB’s, well pictures of that Exige in Japan, if you can overcome the clearance issue you could have something really f*****g cool.
We are working on the clearance… It may end up being pretty special!
Welcome Dan. I’m defo gonna get to a BTCC round this year so I’ll look you up.
You’ve only been here 5mins and you’ve already given Jonny a semi with your ITB talk,…good effort
Well it’s certainly very exiting and I’m sure it’ll be hugely taxing in getting it to work but good luck Dan.
welcome!
Welcome along
Thanks guys,
Hello,
I’m new in these parts too, they seem like a good bunch of very knowledgable chaps so I think you’ve come to the right place
