Hi everyone,

Like many, I registered to gain some info and advice as a prospective buyer. Currently got my mind set on an S2 Exige S.
I live in the west of Scotland and work offshore as a spark. I’ve got a reasonable amount of mechanical knowledge and experience too as my old man is a mechanic and he’s taught me anything I wanted to know. I’ve had quite a few cars in the 10 years i’ve been driving, including building a xe powered Westfield, and a pretty powerful Impreza.

There are some cracking roads round where I live but unfortunately most of the miles i’ve been doing recently have been up and down the A90

Hi all, just joined the forum and thought i would come and introduce myself.

I work with RussT at Lambogenie but more in the background on the web/admin side.

Although I do get some time in the cars during the summer and looking forward to trying out the new Elise SC.

Been on the site a month or so and only just seen this thread! My Dad had an Elite when i was a kid but sadly it rarely made it out onto the road! One headlight would pop up and various other electrical issues rendered it unroadwothy. Then 15yrs ago i found myself at a lotus dealership near Canterbury and got chatting to the sales guy. By the end of the week I’d bought my first Lotus, a Pacific blue Elan S2. Two Elise S2’s later and I now have a beautiful Storm Titanium Exige S2… I’m smiling as much now as when i first drove that Elan.

Great site, friendly members and a pleasure to use.
