Weigh-in

Been meaning to get the yellow peril weighed for ages and finally got round to it today.
800kg, straight up with full tank.
Handbook says 785kg with full tank.
So, if I had removed the various odds and sods from the interior and luggage compartment, I might have been spot on. Certainly when the carbon intake is fitted I expect a massive improvement. What do you reckon Jonny?

Had mine on the scales with just under half a tank, 764.5kg’s…lighter than most other stuff I’ve tried

You didn’t have your old copies of Motor Sport in the boot did you Steve?

Crikey, forgot about those . . ditching 'em will take it down to 700kg!

Good stuff fella’s but I could do without the torment if I’m honest  820kg half tank

890kg with half a tank of fuel, shows how light the S1 is, I have had to do a lot of work to get it that weight.
On the other hand that is with a charge cooler accusump and AC, I don’t feel so bad now

905kg with over 3/4 of tank for my fat boy. Though i have lost the accusump and 4 litres of oil since that weigh in.

where abouts did you get it weighed and how much does it cost?

Paul,
Got mine weighed at a local builders’ merchants with heavy-duty lorry weighbridge. Cost £4.
However, Ollie said he could have weighed it using, I think, his cornerweight machine.

My S1 is 735kg with fumes in the tank. Totally standard except Nitrons, Janspeed exhaust. It has aircon. I am wondering about the accuracy of the weighing process as it is very light. It was done at the mot on the kit they use to measure light commercial vehicles.

Mine was via corner weight scales that Matt B has…

Mine at Track Group although it was 815kg before the paint job so I’m presuming 5kg inc a few little bits.

going to throw mine on the scales next weekend but should be about 680kg in street mode.

Donnington has a set of scales in scrutineering, I used them for free

I have a set of corner scales
Shall I take them to Anglesey??

Great plan Dave, be good to see if Shrek has porked out during hibernation

Sounds good Dave. I don’t need to but I’m sure others will want to…

Indeed

S2 Exige with supercharger and charge cooler
851 kgs with 40 ltrs of fuel…
So @ 0.771 kgs per litre, 30 litres is about 21 kgs
Makes my car just a little over 830 kgs with fuel light off…Very happy indeed!
