I think the Lotus F1 DNA and history lies within the Team Lotus name & brand. Therefore with Mr Fernandes and as backed todate by the Chapman family whilst also supporting the road car efforts of Bahar & co.
Bahar in F1 is acting like a spoilt kid who can’t have his way IMHO 
think this one will rumble on for some time yet. anything that brings the lotus name and colours back to f1 for me is a plus but i just want it to be within reason that the name doesnt get damaged miscontsrude and theres this confusion as to which “LOTUS”
car we should be following . persoanlly i think the group lotus one has my favour

Just catching up on this, & my simplistic understanding of what has recently transpired has left me with no respect whatsover for Bahar & his cronies.
I’m getting bored now. :tired: too much blah blah blah.

Bahar has wrecked Lotus imho, the new cars do nothing for me and everything I love about the Lotus brand seems to have gone.
Proton would do well to get shut of him, I also think a much better move would of been to buy into the Fernandes Lotus team and chuck more money at it.
I am guessing they want to finish further up the grid straight away to impress the rich Asians so they will buy the new bloated cars rather than being back markers.
I still feel very sad about Lotus

BTW it seems that the REAL court case will not happen until March/April by which time the 2011 F1 season will be well under way…
It’s still very quiet at Hingham. Normally there are all sorts of facebook and twitter messages coming out from there but there has been nothing for a couple of days. The last one was on Thursday and was a green and yellow version of the spoof ministry sign “Stay Calm and Carry On”. Nothing since.
