Watch straps (NLC)

Recently in a fit of complete idiocy I managed to buy two watch straps that are the wrong size…so rather than mess around sending them back to the retailer, who is in the US, I wondered if anyone might be interested?

They are top quality Morellato calfskin straps - dark blue outer, natural inner - with stainless buckles and are to fit a 22mm case. I paid roughly £22 each after vat & Royal Mail processing fee.

I’ve had Morellato straps before, so can vouch for them being excellent quality, at least as good at OE Omega, etc.

The link below is where I bought them:

I’d like to get at least some of the cost back (not least as I’ve now bought the right ones…) so around £15 each including First Class UK postage would be nice

22mm case? Is this for a girls watch :open_mouth:

PMSL Monsieur Pedant

Clearly not…it is a 22mm strap, but I’m sure you knew that anyway

However these are very good quality straps so if anyone’s interested please drop me a PM.

Indeedy, & I would have taken them off your hands if they were for 20mm lugs - I have quite a collection of suitable watches. Good luck

I have some nice secondhand daffodil bulbs if anyone fancies making a bid

For those in doubt, both straps are new, unfitted and still in their original wrapping.

At some point I need to check my Seamaster over this weekend, will get back to you at some point.

Will that be at some point John?

Red wine

Oi you

Okay, cheers

Just checked, it’s 20mm. An Omega replacement is £350!

Okay thanks for the update. If no other interest then I’ll get them (back) on eBay!

Not surprised about Omega’s quote - they seem to have been increasing their prices steadily for ages. That’s why I started using non-OE straps and, after trying various brands, landed on Morellato as good quality/price.

I reckon to get at least two years use with daily wear from one, making them about 3p per day
