Wanted: Sports Seats, Back Panel, Harness's + Bar

Ad the title says, im looking for the following for my '07 Exige S;

  • Motorsport Seats (Pref; Carbon / Alacantara)
  • Harness Bar
  • Back Panel Trimmed For Harness Bar
  • Harnesses

I’d like to try and go the standard back panel / harness bar route if possible, I can’t see any reason why this can’t be done to a car that came supplied with a touring pack?

I’ve got an S2 genuine Lotus harness bar 55 if you want it. Having a garage clear out at the moment of all my old motorsport clobber…also got some nice harnesses see the for sale section…

Just replied to one of you’re topics yeh I’m interested!!

Ive got a set of harnesses if your interested
same as these

200 for the pair

Again, calling first dibs!!

I take it they are in black and yellow too? Any marks what so ever on them, no fraying, etc? I was looking at the ones without the red button release on MSAR Saftey, take it these are just the same?

Craig, Ive got everything your after…only its not for sale …you really should have just got a sports pack one like mine…

On a serious note, one thing to remember the push red button type harness complies with MOT regs where as the twist aircraft type doesnt…

If only a certain bastard didn’t buy one of the car’s I was looking at when I bought mine, eh?? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not fussed about the MOT side of things with the harnesses, and I will also be looking at putting the 5th point into the drivers seat too as the Atom was just so supportive with the extra restraint.

I may need to steel a nosey at how lotus have trimmed your back panel though!!

No problem mate anytime…

10th looking good for April 09, Paul interested then too. Not sure about Paula…

Phil’s said hes not going till Oct as theres a chance Paula might be back on the ferry celebrating again, haha. Nah he text me the other day saying hes game for April too so all systems are go!

Can you provide any supporting references for this statement? many people seem to belive it, but I have never seen anyone support it…

My car has passed an MOT at two seperate MOT stations with the twist type buckles and its never been mentioned. i would also be interested to know where i stand legally…

I thought it was just an FIA approval thing not MOT

Might have a set of motorsport seats if you didn’t get fixed up

Pretty sure thats not the case: my Catarham comes with twist buckle harnesses as standard and passed its first MOT earlier this year
