In the end I bought some TMR’s and had them satin black as a way of getting 5-spokes.

What are the tmr wheels? I’m quite new to lotus.
TMR are a Japanese wheel and to my knowledge pretty much the only wheel designed to fit S1 Exige that you can buy new. They are very light and expensive. Someone on Seloc organised a group buy a while back. Do a search for TMR on here you’ll find loads of discussions…
I think MSAR are the UK stockist in my memory is correct (Not cheap but usually in stock)

There’s an attempted group buy on Facebook for Speedline Mag’s…no price yet.
The moulds for the original were destroyed and there’s been numerous attempts to get more made but to no avail. I gave up and bought some TMR.

I’ve tried a couple of time to get another batch made and it came to nothing. I even told them I would buy 16 sets as that was the minimum they would make and still nothing so good look to the guy trying now.
I think they would sell if they are kept to £2k or under. The originals were around £1200 a set when I last bought them but that must be 6 or 7 years ago now.
Just bough one set. I keep my oem wheel as extra. I am very very happy with the TMR. less mass in movement, new direction sensibility.
Add a photo off mine to express an other possible setup option with bright black color circled with a polish ring. May be I will chance for black mat or satin effect…
