Not you as well - join the queue

That’s what I was thinking
It’s all about supply and demand
Thats what I tell the missus.

LOL !

Wot… you demand and she supplies!!!
I had spoken to Speedline mid last year (before I sold the Exige) and they had 1/2 dozen sets left. Circa 1300. Ummed and Arred and now they have NO more in stock.
I called again a few weeks back, and apparantly they were thinking about making another batch, but the magnesium factory in Italy that produced them has gone down the gurgler, so no more will be made. HOWEVER, reading between the lines of the info I was given, if they could see a demand, they might consider a small batch from another factory… premium price however but still under 2K Rob!)
So… I think is we get a ‘group buy’ going, and present them with an order for 10+ sets or so, it would perhaps be possible to twist the arms!!!
Come on Ben… I’m in for this
they only used to make 10 sets at a time anyway mate. I can see if we went to them with a definate order of x amount of sets they may make them but even thats not for sure after what he was saying to me yesterday.
Ahhhh, so there is a co-ordinated attack happening then!
Perhaps we should do this? I would love a set… and at the end of the day if I ended up selling the car I could always sell them for 1999.99 (to undercut Pesky!)
If we do end up getting some made, surely they can do them so that we don’t need to run spacers?

I think the mould will be the same???
Anyway, is not the spacer for the rear only and then only 8mm or so???
Not bothered if I can get a set as is!!!
‘Perfect’ would be nice though I do agree.
i dont run spacers on mine anyway.
its only a 3 mm spacer but speedline cant do the rear wheel to the standard offset as there’s not enough material there hence the spacer to make it correct but you dont need the spacer anyway. i used to use the spacer but Martin Edwards took it off and said its not needed so i dont use them now. You in for a set of the speedlines then Dave if we can get them to make a few more?
Problem with using the spacer is you loose the hub location … which is not good !
Must remember that excuse!
Note, the last batch of Speedlines had problems, I sent mine back and I know others did too. Leaked like a sieve (and therefore questions about their structural integrity)
