Ideally, I want original parts. There is a guy in Darlington who does pattern parts, PB Fibreglass. I had a look over his place as he is local to me, but have reservations over the final quality as I am a bit anal over my car.
If anyone has any orginal parts, please contact me: [email protected]
Junks, have you got any clams etc laying around?
PS. Biker was very lucky and only suffered a broken leg. My fiancee and I have really bad whiplash and back pains. Dawn got her spine xrayed and has a fractured T9 vertebra!

I don’t have any original parts at the moment Mark except an engine cover & a roof - have already spoken to Dan this morning mate
As it happens i have a link up K20 s2 elise converted to exige body and im located near sedgefield, i didnt build my car but i know there are a few custom parts required for it to work. if you want to have a look at mine give me a shout
I might just take you up on your offer to look at yours. I saw it when it was up at Dans and it looks superb. I would very much like to have a closer look at it once the insurance decides if its repairing or not.
While enjoying the lovely sunshine on Saturday with my fiance, we got rear ended by a prick on a Honda CBR1000.
This was not just a little tap, but huge collision that made a mess of the rear of my car.
What makes this worse was that we were not even stopped, but moving! He most have been well over at ton as the bike was in forth gear.
Prick suffered a broken leg and I had to get out of the car and lift the bike off him. He had already lost control of the bike under braking, so luckily he never came over the top.
Looks like I now have to go through all the hassle of getting my car put back to how it was. Not sure of the full extent of the damage, but hopefully its not structural. First impressions are new clam (don’t think it will T-cut), new boot lid, new 2bular exhaust (nicely flattened by the front wheel of the bike), new cat, new Link Up manifold, new extended diffuser (not sure where from as this was a maddogs one), new grill eliminator kit, new number plate, new nimbus etc.
Will be on the phone to Europa Consultants first thing on Monday morning as I can not face the hassle of it all. I also really need a like for like replacement (not sure they do Honda’d ones, so one of the heavy Exiges will have to do).
Both Dawn and I had to go to hospital last night suffering from whiplash as it was a huge impact and Dawn had to get X-ray’ed. She needs to go back to the rapid spinal assessment clinic.
Anyway, here are some pics of my bashed and poorly car :cry
