WANTED: S2 Exige Bodywork

After my car got rear ended by a motorbike, I need some Exige S2 Clams (front and rear), engine cover, roof, lower hinge covers, spoiler, splitter.

If anyone has any available or know of any, please contact me with a price.

Looking to rebuild my car ASAP so any help would be greatly appreciated.

My email address is: [email protected]

Thanks,

Good god that did some damage for one motorbike!!! Everyone ok?

Do you need original or copy clams?

Junks is your big gay S2 panel supplying man!!

lol what do you mean big!! X

Ideally, I want original parts. There is a guy in Darlington who does pattern parts, PB Fibreglass. I had a look over his place as he is local to me, but have reservations over the final quality as I am a bit anal over my car.

If anyone has any orginal parts, please contact me: [email protected]

Junks, have you got any clams etc laying around?

PS. Biker was very lucky and only suffered a broken leg. My fiancee and I have really bad whiplash and back pains. Dawn got her spine xrayed and has a fractured T9 vertebra!

engine cover with rear spoiler
LH front sill to front clam section

I don’t have any original parts at the moment Mark except an engine cover & a roof - have already spoken to Dan this morning mate

The guy is called Phil Baines and the company is called PB Fibreglass Products Ltd.

JDS - could you give me an idea of price for the bits and also a more accurate description of the damage/repairs needed and if possible, photos.

Junks - could you let me know how much for the roof and engine cover please? Dan did mention that he spoke to you this morning when I rang him.

Hoping to find the bits required to rebuild my as soon as possible.

Some pics should be on their way to your email address. Let me know if they don’t arrive and I’ll try again.

Also have both front access panels and various boot trim/lock/etc pieces for the rear clamshell.

John,

All the little bits and pieces such as the trim, seals, lock etc would be great. As would the access panels.

Recieved the your email and look forward to seeing some more pics and prices.

Thanks a lot.

So looking at your picture you crashed an exige and are now rebuilding it as an elise, hence needing every body panel ?

Other way round I think you mean Chris

Designer:

As it happens i have a link up K20 s2 elise converted to exige body and im located near sedgefield, i didnt build my car but i know there are a few custom parts required for it to work. if you want to have a look at mine give me a shout

Dave

Hi Dave,

I might just take you up on your offer to look at yours. I saw it when it was up at Dans and it looks superb. I would very much like to have a closer look at it once the insurance decides if its repairing or not.

PS, I am just along the A689 in Billingham.

Here’s is a cross post from SELOC so you can see the damage:

While enjoying the lovely sunshine on Saturday with my fiance, we got rear ended by a prick on a Honda CBR1000.

This was not just a little tap, but huge collision that made a mess of the rear of my car.

What makes this worse was that we were not even stopped, but moving! He most have been well over at ton as the bike was in forth gear.

Prick suffered a broken leg and I had to get out of the car and lift the bike off him. He had already lost control of the bike under braking, so luckily he never came over the top.

Looks like I now have to go through all the hassle of getting my car put back to how it was. Not sure of the full extent of the damage, but hopefully its not structural. First impressions are new clam (don’t think it will T-cut), new boot lid, new 2bular exhaust (nicely flattened by the front wheel of the bike), new cat, new Link Up manifold, new extended diffuser (not sure where from as this was a maddogs one), new grill eliminator kit, new number plate, new nimbus etc.

Will be on the phone to Europa Consultants first thing on Monday morning as I can not face the hassle of it all. I also really need a like for like replacement (not sure they do Honda’d ones, so one of the heavy Exiges will have to do).

Both Dawn and I had to go to hospital last night suffering from whiplash as it was a huge impact and Dawn had to get X-ray’ed. She needs to go back to the rapid spinal assessment clinic.

Anyway, here are some pics of my bashed and poorly car :cry

Bloomin eck!

Remember your car from a Croft trackday (must be 2 years ago I guess!)

Hope you get it back on the road in fine form soon. At least you weren’t hurt badly

MarcP did the Exige conversion - He’s a great guy and on here too, so sure he’ll help wherever he can.

Ouch!!

And yeah Marc P is most deffo your man.
