Must be the VHPD model and unmolested please. My budget is up to £28k-29k. A bit of a long shot, but I have a Rallye G60 MK2 Golf, which is one of the best in the country I may be willing to swap plus cash your way.

Had a g60 rallye myself Kriss, small world. We need pics…
I will get some more pics uploaded later. She has the electric recaro interior and the standard 1H engine and charger.
Looks stunning mate. They’re very much in demand now and hardly ever come up for sale. We estimate there are less that 100 left now, and a great number of these are far from standard with 20VT engines in rather than the original 1.8 supercharged.
A friend has restored one recently but with a turbo v6. Not for the purests maybe but it’s a beast.
Well I’ve got someone coming to look at the Rallye a week on Saturday, so fingers crossed guys.
Good luck with the sale. I’m sure you’d miss your Rallye but a quick nip out to the garage and all would be good again.
Well that’s the Rallye sold; a few grand less than what I would have liked, but now actively looking for the right S1. Budget wise, I thin k I could stretch to £30k for a really nice one if anyone is tempted to sell.
You’ll certainly get your money back. Good luck, keep us posted.
Still looking. Nice titanium one on pistonheads a few weeks ago, but that was up for nearly £40k!!! Think it maybe impossible to get one for around £30k now.
That never sold. There will be some come up over the summer if you wait and they won’t be £40k.
It didn’t sell because the seller who is on here decided that he wanted to keep hold of it.
The seller did say that he had 2 serious offer’s very close to his asking price.
Yeah I always advertise a car for a couple of weeks then decide to keep it aswel.
Ok thanks chaps. I will keep looking.
Fingers crossed Kriss.
It was my car Chris. It was for sale but in the interests of domestic harmony, the advert was withdrawn. I had two serious enquiries very close to the asking price. The cars are on the up whether people accept it or not. Sadly it’s about supply and demand (as is often the case) and as long as demand outstrips supply, its a sellers market. You pays your money and all that.
Yep, I agree with you. Bought my Rallye for £5500 and sold it for £17,750 straight away. I’m sure prices will keep rising.
