would be happy with driver seat if that was all that anyone had.
Alternatively - could anyone suggest where the closet thing to the original S1 seats could be found to buy new. Mine has standard Elise seats - not sure why?

I have a 340R drivers seat I am about to put up for sale
came out of my S1 honda elise which I have just sold the seat was new this year when I fitted it its in Black with grey centre It has the runners already fitted so takes about 20 mins to fit It has the safety devices waist buckle already fitted just needs the shoulder straps
This is a really nice seat especially for track
make me an offer

John - not doubting you but for clarification, if its new its not an original seat from a 340R is it?
Not sure what your point is but to clarify
The seat was brand new when I bought it still in the original plastic bag (I didn’t say it came out of a 340R)
It is the type that goes in a 340R ie not quite the same as an Exige seat (the logo says lotus and the centre panel is slightly different) although this seat has only ever been in my Elise and came directly from Lotus

I Have sold the seat through Pistonheads to an Exiges.com member
I can’t believe the number of emails I have had from people looking for these seats
Probably could have got more for it but It sold in less than 24 Hours
