Wanted Honda/Audi Converted S1 or S2

Hi Guys

I am possibly after an S1 or S2 conversion either with a Honda or Audi engine.

Please let me know what anyone has got for sale or knows off.

Regards

Rob

There’s a chap on here called “DSE” with a Honda’d S2 Elise who is selling up!

Looks fast.

Cheers MarkyB. I have PM’d him already. The problem is I spent last weekend making the car look and feel perfect (with the full intention of selling) and now I dont know if I want to anymore. Its bloody fast and has been reliable for me. I had forgotten how good it looked when I clean it properly and so on … not sure what to do.

Anyone?

Keep it! That is possibly one of the best and cleanest converted S2 cars in the world!

I went to Rockingham last Saturday in it and it was awesome. A perfect match for the racing Caterham R300s. I just want the DC5 manifold a new exhaust and I will be happy. The car aint for Sale anymore.

Cool Man!!

Talk to Ben about the manifold, we recently put one on his!

Yep my CTR manifold was fooked and I decided to go DC5. Car into JSRacing after an evening at Donny and job done. Top job, service and attention to detail as usual from the boys at JSR.

I’ve barely driven the car since the work but a quick run up to S’Stone on Saturday reminded me that I own a rocket ship :sunglasses:

I thought about exhaust too but held back for now although JSR explored a few options for me. Once I get my cams (eh Andy eh eh  ) though, then we’ll see.

Awesome, I am regularly emailing John from JSR and hopefully will have a price soon. He is waiting on scuffers and so on.

I have the toda cams already and about 255hp at the wheels (I am told it should be about 265 with a proper SC design exhaust). I am hoping for a little than 265 with the DC5 manifold and a super duper exhaust (scuffers latest design). Also hoping the new exhaust will help with cooling. I keep melting my paint work near my left exhaust pipe.

We will see.

IF someone can give the CORRECT and DEFINATE part numbers no worries, but it seems that this is a minefield … too many if and buts to be sure.

I already have the dealer in Nagoya set up but he has to know the number …

Japanese are more German than Germans when it comes to proceedure and stuff

I went through this when I got mine… even when you get the cams you can’t tell if they are JDM or normal ones…no markings on them that can be used to distinguish…

These are the numbers I had for them…

14110-PRC-000 (or 010 or 020) is the inlet
14120-PRC-000 (or 010 or 020 or 030) is the exhaust

Cheers Dave … that is exact what I have written down and keep trying to xreference … I think going for 020 is the way to go - my big concern is later cams 09 I think for the later engines are a different length so armed with the model year as 01-07 and those numbers I should be good to go …

What the betting the delivery on them is months

How much are they?
