Id like to retrofit electric windows, so if anyone has any idea what I need or where I can get the bits, please let me know.

really think you’ll miss electric windows that much?
You do know it’s easy to reach the passengers door!
I’m short and my car has harnesses only, not inertia reels so it actually makes a difference for the passenger side.
Electric windows does not give you passenger window controls from the drivers side anyway! might not do what you want anyway
yeah only one button per door, and it goes in the hole left by the winder so not sure it’ll help your cause too much
My dentist uses one of those if you don’t open your mouth whilst he earns his crust

I fitted some in my old s2. If you take your door card off you may find the electrics in there. Should have 2 plugs 1 for the motor and the other for the button. Mine had the electrics fitted but manual winders. All you need then is the buttons and motors. The glass fits slightly different on the runners but I modified to suit by drilling new holes. If you get the motor you will be able to see how to bolt it in when you take the door card off.

Opened up door card and cannot see any electrics.
Bit dissapointing but some company called the lotus centre in birmingham reckon they can supply and if necessary fit all the bits I need for �400 inc the looms if necessary.
Anyone heard of these people? a quick search for elise breakers found them.
PM Junks or Tarmac Terrorist they might have the bits you need and probably for less
Am aactually put off the idea at the moment but am in no hurry.
Will consider a door swap with someone in the future.
