Damn, ive had 3rd & 4th gear synchro sat in my draw for years, was hoping i could help.
Where are you trying to order these parts? when i was trying to get them for my gearbox rebuild i first tried Lotus parts seller and i would get the same responce as you, that they would take months to arrive. i then phoned my local Toyota dealer and they had them for me withing a week.
Yes i tried my local Toyota dealer, they were very helpful to be fair, but same story with the 2nd gear synchro, the couldn’t even give me a lead time. They also wanted £485 just for the 6th gear, GT4-play are only £237
