The AirCon unit was removed from my car for various reasons. Its no longer with the cars spares, I’d like to tuck one away should I ever want to put the car back to 100% standard. If anyone has one they’d sell on please get in touch.
Do you have in pictures of under the access panel? I’ve just removed mine, it was dead. I’m just keen to see how they went about it?
Jonny I’ll take some what do you want to see? My cars was removed for weight but also because the alternator has been moved. I think from talking to the original owner it had gone through 3 in 20k miles due to over heating, which I is a common problem. It’s been lowered and that meant the air con had to come out.
The battery and washer bottle are relocated on a/c cars, I’ve relocating mine to something more normal. I have a little issue ducting the the air into the heater now the evaporator has been removed. It’s not a massive issue but getting air to the heater housing which is different to non a/c will require at little ingenuity. Just curious to see what’s been down…
