WANTED - 211 GT4 Rear Wing

Hi,
I am looking for a 211 GT4 rear wing, or DJ Racing SM183 wing.
Thanks
Julien

You will be lucky!!

I have never seen one come up for sale s/h as I am looking myself.

They are 1700 + vat from Lotus for 2-11 oem.

Best prices I have found is DJ Engineering and they will make it up to your spec for around a 1000.

Pretty impressive list of customers, inc Lotus

They’re a nice bunch, too, having met and chatted to them at a couple of British Hillclimb championship events

Don’t plans have one for sale on piston heads for 995 at the minute?

/moves out of the way of the rushing horde

DJ manufacture the Lotus wings. DJ sell the 211 wing for a lot less money than going through Lotus.

I got DJ to make me my new wing. Superb quality!! If you want something cheaper, ask them if they have any of their 2nds wings. I got got my main 183 element and my flap with slight defects in them, at a fraction of the cost of a perfect one. If they hadn’t told me, I honestly wouldn’t have known and there is no difference in the strength, just a bit of weave distortion and a bit of pitting in the surface. My main element was 400 as apposed to over 1000. End plates are about 120 from memory.

Told you they were a good bunch!

I fancied ordering DJ’s wing they made for the 2-11 prototype…

Sweet.
Thanks for all comments.
I realize the chance of getting this kind of wing second chance is close to none…
I’ll have a chat with DJ then.
Cheers

Out of interest, I’ve just spoken to DJ and they do have some 2nds ‘183’ profile wings, i.e the 211 profile. Not sure about 2nd element wings though. Hurry up, I’m sure they won’t hang around too long.

i was in there before christmas and he had about 4 there from memory
del and the lads are very helpful indeed and there workshop is also great to look around if you can get up there
luckily for me it is literally 5 mins up the road and i never knew it was there
