Yep, expect a “retail price” of 15K to 20K. Only suitable for a race/track car, not a road car though - per Scuffers & Maidstone with whom I spoke at Donny last weekend. It has been developed for Honda’d cars - ECU does a number of clever things eg blipping throttle on downshifts.

Oh my god 20k!

was maybe thinking 10k… not even a chair is going to help with that one!

Forgot to mention that they are “high maintenance” as well eg replace oil after each race meeting, & regular precautionary strip down, & inspection.

not as bad as you would expect actually Pesky…

The book of facts state-

1 - SERVICING PLANNING

Oil Levels and Running In - Through the Level bung illustrated below fill the
Gearbox with 1.6L of Transmission Oil. The Gearbox requires 50Km of
running in at under 7000rpm, the Oil should then be drained and new Oil
fitted.

Track day use: Drain the oil of the gearbox every 5 000Kms, and check good statement during a
dismantling every 10 000kms.

Endurance race use: Proceed to a complete revision of the gearbox every 24h of use.

24 - that’s not many gear changes, mate

just as a guide It took 20 gear changes per lap at snetterton when I drove the factory car on a lap time of 1.18.

If my math is correct a 24hr race at snett on an average time of say 1.20 per lap over the 24hrs youd be doing nearly 22,000 gear changes (in continuos use)… And the quicker you are around the circuit the more laps you do the more gear changes you would make!!

Better get yerself some of these then!

hey whatever weird perversions your into you can keep to yourself thank you very much!!

Infact your signature is placed well in line with the other two picces!!
