VX, yay, or nay...

Saw this for sale on pistonheads, lovely colour for a VX , now, I know this may sound like sacrilege, but with a blacked out �V� and some OZ racing wheels, I think it would actually be rather pretty, and with Thorney Motorsport VX220T Stage 2/3 upgrade pretty quick too.

Anyone on here actually taken one for a drive before, if so what do you think? Is it a case of great car shame about the badge or just that the Exige/Elise is plain better?

I think VXs are underrated, I had a standard VX220 a few years go. Test drive a turbo before buying to be sure it’s enough performance for you (it’s quite heavy too)

Had a go in the ones Bedford used to keep for the Corporate days. I actually quite enjoyed it…winning the event may have helped

Once in the seat it was similar to an Elise if not quite so nimble but it did nothing for me from the outside.

I had a play in one of the ltd edition VXR jobbies. I really like it.
