Where is the venue for this event?
Keswick / Buttermere, we usually meet at Rheged near Penrith then drive to Honister Quarry Simon if that helps.
What time do I need to be there?
Fairly early but Tim will be along to remind us of timing. Well worth the journey over.
One thing I won’t forget: Lots of posh totty
We normally all gather near Keswick 10.00am to 10.30am and head for Lorton (HQ & where to pick up an information leaflet) and then go to Buttermere (Old Road) & onto Honister Pass (Slate Mine) for the afternoon session.
Great opportunity to see old Bentley, Bugatti, 9ltr Mercedes, Austin 7’s, Alfa’s etc getting up & down roads you would try yourself without a decent 4x4!!
We can form up on a time & meet point nearer the day.

Weather forecast looks reasonable, sunshine and showers, so I’m aiming to go, especially as I have booked a day off work.
