Ok they’ve finally arrived, they are so light! That’s by the by however I have already purchased front R888 195/50 ZR16s but have read on Seloc tech-wiki that I may need 205/45 R16’s.
Co-ordsport say that they will fit but the wheel is wider than the tyre by about 10-15mm 205 would look better but both will work fine from 195-225 is min and max 7j standard size is 205!
So I’m confused as to which one?
Also the wheel center being bigger,(except on- off fitting that’s nbd) does that cause a problem?
LASTLY if I go wider at the front will this affect the handling…more tyre, grip, understeer as so on…arb on full hard knock it back possibly ?
What J are the wheels? Are they the same as the 240R wheels?
Ok just found them on Techwiki they are the same size as the 240R wheels I have and the 195’s fit very well, infact I would suggest they are better than on the 6.5J rims which are the norm.
I’d stick with the 195’s at the front. As Ade says the 240R rims are 7J and are supposed to give a better contact patch with the 195 tyres. I get enough rubbing as it is without going wider.

Whats that all about? Don’t the wheels locate onto the hub properly? If not you’re in for a whole heap of trouble.

The centre bore 65 compared to 56.6…bolts locate yes but sit loose around the hub…this has bothered me and is bothering me even more now …go on Will…
Any idea’s where I can get some from…I could always google it I suppose but just wondered because of your 240R’s?
Also the offsets are front 31 and rear 30… > sound ok > lol?
Don’t know where I’d get the spacers. Speak to coordisport? Might want to get yourself to the NEC on Thursday or Friday when the engineering show is on and speak to a few people. Not difficult thing to make just a matter of finding someone to do it for you.
Re the offsets the front is the same as the 240 so no hassles there. Rear on the 240s is 38 so reasonably big difference. Think 35 is more normal as an aftermarket alternative. 30 is going to fill out those arches by an extra 8mm each side. Should look great but not sure on how it will effect the handling or the hubs/bearings.
Not trying to point out problems, just answering your questions. BTW they do look the dogs.

No I know, no worries I’m always larning but I am confused as the only spacers I can find are H&R which increase track. If the front offset is ok at 31 then all I need is what a center bore increase, like a ring? And the rear being 30 when it should be 38 is that not a decrease in track with a 5-8mm spacer and center bore increase. Again not sure of what exactly to ask for? Going Friday btw?

You don’t want to change the front track, you just need a hubcentric ring to keep the wheel centred. Re the rear offsets suggest you do a google search. A smaller positive offset pushes the wheel further out in the arch as there is more material closer to the centre line. Difficult to explain without a picture.

Thanks Will sorted mate so I can leave the rears RE there offsets. So it’s just a case of getting a set of hub centric rings aka spigot rings to fit an internal 56.6 external 65. Obviously to fit and not that size. I’ll check around, thanks for the info mate will call this place for starters first thing in the morning.
