I like that roof. Anyone know who makes it? Seems to fit more like the S2 than the lousy fit on the S1 Exige.

Looks like a motorsport roof, i think Sean had one at one time.

Yeah I thought motorsport roof. But I am sure that the Motorsport roof fittd at the front the same way as the standard roof, not nicely butted up like in that picture.

Actually looks like an S2 screen surround on that car. Can just see flush mounted aerocatches on the rear edge of that roof. Mods to the front clam and quarter panels are neatly done too.

That car was built by KomoTec in Germany and has a Toyota engine fitted.

Given the above info am I right in thinking that this car is a Series 2 Exige with Series one body panels and a custom fitted roof? Is that a feasible modification (or would it need lots of fittings custom making?

To be totally honest, I think the leading edge of the roof mated to that S2 Screen surround looks FANTASTIC, almost like it was finished properly. IMHO of course

(I’m turning into a roof spotter, oh dear)

Any more news on that car?
