I’ve just had the following message when I logged on to exiges.com
The page you are trying to access has been identified as a known exploit, phishing, or social engineering web site and therefore has been blocked for your safety. Without protection, such as that in the AVG Security Toolbar and AVG, your computer is at risk of being compromised, corrupted or having your identity stolen. Please follow one of the suggestions below to continue.
Lol … seriously tho computers are a bane of modern day life …
A visit to a web page months ago could have planted a seed that is only germinating now …
Personally I have found AVG to be the AntiVirus to have … it,s free and in my limited e,experience has fixed problems where other software has not .
Is it just me or has the standard of the ads at the top right deteriorated over the last week. My performance is spot on, and not looking to better it with a bottle of pills

You get what you pay for - AVG is sh*t. Have it on my business laptop but run Norton on all the others. 30 for 3 PC’s for a year is well worth it. AVG causes all sorts of other issues which you may experience but not relate to AVG.
I had the same message as everyone else as I was sneaking a peek using my business laptop.
Same problem for me, using F-secure (never had a problem with it in years) - I just block the Java 6 installation the page is trying to install (and the phising .exe as well).
As for AVG being sh*t as one of our number said – it stopped this threat, quarantined it and protected my computer, and it allowed me to alert others to the danger. I’ve tried Norton and NcAfee and they are just too much hard work.
