My second time at the circuit and I only got 1.5hrs at the end of the day as the rest of the day was given over to the Lambo being handover to the buyer.
Ultimately pace gains from the last visit but I am putting in practice some of the learnings from time with Maxx, Sean and Mike so the laps are getting better. I copped a fair amount of traffic during the 3 sessions.
Like a most newcomers I found Vale hard to judge braking for, when to change up in exit from Club and Priory to Luffield exit really frustrating.
Hi mate, great video.
It always makes me smile to see how much other cars struggle to get around corners with out rolling over!
Just wondered if you wanted to try something that I found to help me. As you exit Brooklands and go into Luffield try staying on the right and hug the kurb into the corner, hold it tight around patiently waiting until you can release the lock and get your toe down using the full width of the track. I was doing excatly what you were doing and in the end I felt it was wasting effort diving across to the left and if I was racing i’d put money on it someone would be straight up the inside. Also I found plenty of grip on the kurb.
Just a thought mate, look forward to the next video.
This guy does what I tried to explain above.[/quote]
Great vid!
More importantly, also some super shots to remind you to do up the passenger seat harnesses (watch them under hard braking!!!) so they dont beat you about the face if things get even more… ‘interesting’!
