Info:-
VI Monitor the leading engine monitoring, diagnostic and performance data correlation device around.
VI Monitor will allow you to monitor and analyse data and engine functions from the ECU. This is normally reserved for garages with expensive diagnostic equipment, but it will also check vehicle fault codes (and lights in most cases) and resets them when applicable.
VI Monitor also allows you to gauge your cars performance including G measurements (cornering force), timing readouts (lap times) and Dyno testing (bhp figures).
VI Monitor can record up to 500 hours of data and compare it on the a computer programme called VI desktop to show you allsorts of graphs and charts just like a race team.
The VI Monitor works by reading the data from the engine management system (ECU), via the OBDII (also referred to as “OBD 2” or “OBD-2”) port, and displays the information on a high resolution 3.5" touch screen.
With newer vehicles becoming more and more electronically advanced, it is becoming harder to give the enthusiast the information they want…
This is where the VI makes it easy…
Simply plug and play!
Real time monitoring of up to 15 parameters on 3 individual gauges showing; (car specific)
RPM
current Speed
Throttle Position
Intake manifold pressure
Water temperature
Air intake temperature
Air fuel ratios
Air flow rate
Ignition advance fuel pressure
RPM & Speed Warnings with Shift Light
3 Axis G-Sensor Self-damping
Data Logging (1gb memory)
Lap Timing
Dyno Testing
MIL Stats

Performance Tests for Both Acceleration and Braking
Perform breaking and acceleration tests 0-60, 1/4 mile and 0600 to measure your cars true performance.
Most tests can be G triggered for unparalleled accuracy.
Each test is recorded for future comparison.
V.I.D. Comparison Software
VI Monitor ships with VI Application software for downloading and comparing data off of your VI.

I’m interested in this but just checked the link supplied and it says only suitable on cars up to 2008. Mines a 2010 Exige…would you be able to find out if it will work on mine?

Hi Whiteysback,

Im sure it will work fine on your 2010 car as I plugged it in to our 59 plate 500 Abarth and also my brothers 2010 renault sport twingo just to ensure that it works on newer cars and it was fine.

The best check i reckon tho would be to email bell & colvil lotus who sell them and ask them if it would fit, i thought it best for you to email so you can see the reply.

Hope this helps.

Regards
Mark.

I’ll call them tom and let you know. Fingers crossed!

Ok no probs.
