VHPD

I may be upgrading to a duratec conversion very soon and will obviously be having to sell the vhpd. No idea’s as to what its worth so i was hoping to get some ideas pls.

New vhpd was put into my car at 14,500miles and has covered approx 4k miles since then. This was paid for under lotus warranty. Pls be advised this was not a strip down and rebuild, this is a brand new engine built from scratch by hanger 111 and scholar. Engine was dyno’d at scholar giving 230bhp at the flywheel

I should also point out that my car has just had a full mot and c service which passed fine with oil change using millers 10/60 which is what its always used to date

Spec is as follows:

1.Magnecor Ignition Leads (Hanger 111)
2.Performance Spark Plugs (Hanger 111)
3.New engine built from scratch at Hanger 111 / Scholar under Lotus warranty at 14500 miles >>> 1.9 litre block conversion incl uprated steel con rods, Cams, forged pistons, new liners etc (Hanger 111 / Scholar)
4.Head port and polished (Hanger 111 / Scholar)
5.AP Racing clutch upgrade (Hanger 111)
6.Vernier Pulley’s incl performance cam belt (Hanger 111)
7.Baffled Sump (Hanger 111 / Scholar)
8.Larger Injectors (Cream Injectors 244cc/min @ 2.5bar - Hanger 111 / Scholar)
9.Remote Thermostat (Hanger 111)
10.Motorsport Oil Cooler system (235mm 19 row cooler - Elise4Track)
11.Pectel SQ6 ECU + motorsport wiring loom replacement throughout (Elise4track)
12.NTK Wideband Lamda sensor kit (Elise4track)
13.8 injector fueling system modification, using the 4 standard injectors in usual place, Adding 4 larger direct to trumpet injectors on custom fuel rail in modified carbon airbox (Elise4Track)

Thought id edit to say the car has never been tracked to date, also 2500 miles of the 4k miles total on this engine were ‘run in miles’

Good luck - interesting spec

Thx mate, id like more power really and i dont want to risk the reliability of the K, its pretty much at the point of what it can do before it gets too silly.
