After a VHPD - not bothered about mileage/service history
Me too. What’s up Simon?
I’ll have mine for sale soon
May I have dibs after Simon.
Or if anyone has a VHPD head that would suite me as well.
Hope it’s ok to piggy back your thread Simon…
Cheers Rob - be great if you could send me a few details
Exige VHPD in great shape - but you never know!!! and have project in mind
No probs JonnyF
If you ever liberate my old VHPD I should really buy it back off you. I don’t have any plans to reinstate it but kinda feel like it should stay with the car.
You are all learning…the best S1 Exiges have their original VHPD engines fitted, or at least in the garage.
Yup you’re probably right. I drove mine this weekend and…ooof, don’t think I could live without that sledgehammer SC Honda, what a machine
Ben your VHPD is still fitted and going like a train - bought 2 Honda K20s but when push came to shove I never had the will to fit 'em - funny bought both after Anglesey Exiges Day when Honda Exiges just disappeared on the straights
S1 Exige will be out dragged by many a car, especially if it is bogged down below 3k rpm or having a tantrum before it finally pulls away. A supercharged s2 or Honda s1 is a much better prospect in a sane world, but who wants to be sane! I am the mad professor at work… I have a reputation to maintain.
330bhp@hubs in an Exige S1 certainly does not feel esp sane,…it’s just a different kind of insanity
Thanks Guys … this talk is not helping my decision making process …
VHPD
NA Honda with TB
TVS convert the existing SC
pick a straw ?

Point taken. It will never have the edge of working out if it is going to explode in the next 5mins.
Not many around - I can get a brand new one un machined no valve seal or guides are a lot of $$$ so I just found out.
What should I pay???
