Does anyone know if the standard VHPD exhaust and inlet valves are the same as the VVC ones?
Cheers

I think so Simon…
Have a look a DVA’s brill ‘K’ series website.
Cheers Pete - I think thats maybe where I got the info from - just that I have found a job lot and it would be a shame to pass an opportunity by
VHPD and VVC valves are the same to my knowledge.
They are the same dimensionally and early VHPD valves are the same valves, however later VHPDs had improved exhaust valves made of better material. These can be identified by the lack of a raised ring in the centre of the exhuast valve face and the lack of a carbon break recess on the stem. Some also had better quality inlet valves which do not have the characteristic dull grey patina of the VVC valves, these too are of much better material.

Many thanks for the info chaps
