I’ve decided to get my S1 Exige honda’d so the VHPD is up for sale. Yes I know a lot of people think I should now be burnt at the stake, but the car isn’t perfectly original anyway.
It has done just under 50,000 miles (I can get the exact mileage) and has never been rebuilt, so will almost certainly need a rebuild. It wouldn’t come with a wiring loom due to needing that for the install. However it would come with an Emerald K3, Piper verniers (retimed by DVA), ITG sausage filter, carbon fibre air box, PRT, Magnecor ignition leads, brand new coil pack, CAT bypass (mild steel and stainless silenced, you choose) and Stainless steel exhaust with oval tip. The previous owner tells me the exhaust was installed by the Edwardz boys, but I don’t know what make it is. All other parts are standard S1 Exige parts as far as I know.
It’s currently at Essex Autosport who are doing the conversion and has been removed from the car. It was serviced and run on their dyno just before removal so they can supply a dyno graph. They (Andy or Wayne) will also vouch for its condition and will happily talk to any potential buyers who want to know more.
I’m looking for around 1750, but I’m open to offers (although nothing too wild as I need all I can get for the conversion!) I’d rather not split it, but I will consider splitting out the ECU and exhaust as I know they can easily be sold. Pictures available upon request as I’ll need to ask Andy to take them.
NOW SOLD!!!
