You would be an MoT fail in the UK. I am surprised that Germany is not more strict. Probably an EU law that we obey and everyone else quietly ignores.Charcoal canister is required from later this year. Mind you, it’s hard to find on an Exige so who will notice?
The Exige S1 is a truly exotic car over here so nobody knows it. My estimation is that there not more than 5 or 10 cras on the road. At least I have never seen another one.
And I’m pretty sure you are able to find a Lotus friendly MoT tester in the UK too
