Whats he done ?
Got a number one hit again?
He is that singer from that status quo group right?
Ain’t had a hit for a while
Not a bad rider is he.
Even though Rossi was quite far ahead there was more overtaking than F1.

Yeah, its that new hair cut I reckon. He can actually see where he is going this year!!!
Is he now considered the greaetest of all time ? I think he went off the boil last year due to that little 30 million tax dodge thingy (or whatever) but he has been truly awesome this year.
I know he is a considerably different character, and the racing still exists in MotoGP, but for me he is now fitting into the Michael Schumacher category. Winning everything thereby making it boring, and there are so many other good riders, that are just not getting a look in.

Are we watching the same championship ? Stoner, Pedrosa and maybe even Hayden on the duke will take the fight to him next year.
He doesn’t just qualify at the front and disapear into the sunset though, he’s always about 6th after first lap and fights his way through. That’s the interesting and skillful bit.
He had bike trouble 2 years ago and tyre trouble last year but this year really has been on it. The Ducati has been fast but he has made the difference with his riding. He’s still young and maybe has another couple of champs left in him ?

Good, I hope you’re right

Neither did Schumacher, well not always, he could also carve his way through everyone else

God I hope not, give someone else a chance, I’ve just had enough of him always winning
I think your just annoyed he’s not giving your local Lad a look in !!
Roll on next saeson, Hayden on the Duc, Stoner with apoint to prove, Danny with his improved braking and Lorenzo now that he has learned not to fall off oh and of course the Yorkshire lad !!

Im sorry, but its all about Casey Stoner…FAR nicer bike. Not into all this jap crap
PHILLIP ISLAND!!!
What a GREAT track… wish I had had my Exige in OZ when I was younger!!!
That’ll be the same Jap crap that powers the Exige/Elise S2 and a number of S1’s
Valentino started 12th and finished 2nd, Valantino is Italian and rides Jap bikes, why do you think that is?
Clearly cos he has never ridden a Ducati
Last time I checked I didnt have an Yamaha engine in my car?!
Last time I checked I didnt have an Yamaha engine in my car?!
Really? So who actually makes the S2 Exige engine then?
I Love Jap drivetrains …
… Well I did until my driveshaft/CV snapped last week
Off to collect it back now , fingers crossed.

Sadly you do, it is rebadged as Toyota
Casey may be a nice guy, but he’s proven this season that even with an unassailable lead, he couldn’t bring the bike home and gifted the win to Rossi, not once but repeatedly and in consecutive races.
I have been watching MotoGp and it’s sub classes for many years, undoubtedly there are many talented riders out there, none can match Valentino.
Biaggi commented some years ago that Rossi had the best bike, hence always won. The following season Rossi rode a bike no-one else wanted, and won straight away. Where is Biaggi now?
You have to go a long way back to find someone that has comparable capability, character and entertainment value.
The championship was already over, yet I still got up a 5 AM to what events unfurl live.

Was the Ducati in 500s when rossi started ?
I think he rode for Honda on an nsr500 because they were the dominent force in 500s, honda wanted him and could afford to pay the right money. He has only ever ridden for Aprilia, Honda and now Yamaha. Again, he wanted out from Honda and Yamaha came up with the right deal for him and his team. I am sure he would have approached Ducati but they obviously didnt have the right deal on the table.
I am sure Aprilia are an Italian bike company and he rode for them for about 4 or so years.
Sorry, I have just realised that I dont know what my point is …
