Actually I love the idea of a V6, it’s another step closer to a modern day Stratos

Ah the Stratos, one of the most sideways cars ever made… I suspect it might be due to the weight just over the rear wheels, great rally car I aleays wanted one of the replica kit cars but could never afford one

I’m sure you all noticed that the car is wearing 03 plates. A quick check on the DVLA web site reveals its capacity as 1798cc. A very small V6 then. Or did they lie on the V55/5???
I wouldn’t get it too. I want a small powerful and hysteric engine in a car like the Exige. I drove the Elise 111r long time ago with the Toyota engine and thought it was quite dull. The flat constant torque curve is nice for drivability in my average Corolla but in the Exige it should sputter, cough and when desired delivery insane peaky performance. So why not continue with the superchargers…Sure there is more power to get from it.
Best go for a Honda then.
