Does it? I wonder why, cos I don’t think much should be ending up there. How much do you mean by “quite a bit”?
Well, it’s not that bad really. I’ve only emptied it three times, but it was pretty much full each time. Last emptied it just a few weeks ago, it will be a few months before it wants checking again.
Not sure about the Edwards splitter. It’s in two parts with a join in the middle which seemed to not meet particularly well. Also the plastic bolts sheared off and one side fell off. Not mine, but someone else I know who had one on the last MLOC run. If it’s that flimsy, can it really give downforce?

The splitter does do something as can be seen on THIS THREAD. The idea behind the nylon bolts is that you don’t rip off the original Lotus splitter (very expensive to replace), as the above thread mentions on page 2. Since fitting mine almost 2 years ago it’s been knocked off twice, once coming off a ferry and the other on a ramp in a garage.
