Upgrades

I can confirm after yesterday that the Fiveo injectors do not work when power is removed from the fuel pump

Got this reccomendation from Fiveo which I think I will go for.
ā€œHere is a link to our fuel injectors for your 07 Lotus Exige (2ZZGE)
We use a proprietary fuel injector that is optimized for the 1.8l engine.ā€

For fuel pump Iā€™m leaning towards the DW65c with Exige fitment kit. No modifications needed.

Or of course the Walbro 255, but then some modification to the pump housing is needed and/or an aftermarket retaining cap.

No pump hosing mods needed with the Walbro pump, But you do have to solder wiring in the pump area. To fit correctly you need the alloy motorsport end cap like this

Another alternative pump is the correct direct fit Denso pump as used by lotus

Or the complete kit inc new filters etc etc

Those injectors are what we used with the syvecs conversion, Direct fit with no messing/adapters etc

do people in yota cars ever do the whole swirl pot thing?

No need when you go proalloy tank

tru dat

Iā€™d like to share the results of recent upgrades.

Before:TRD, 2Bular 100cell cat and back box, EP ECU
193PS@7800 and a flat torque around 200Nm. Too small injectors maxing out at 6500 resulting in AFR@8000 = 13.8

Now: As before + ITG filter, new pump, 550cc injectors, 3.0" pulley.
230HP@7800 and a flat torque around 200Nm apart from a strange dip@5200. Done on 95 fuel and with big margains.

Thanks bud ill ring my local and get some ordered.

Guys looking at nitrons, is there a massive differance between road and track versions ?? I do a fair bit of road driving, but wouldnā€™t want to be disappointed if I got the road shocks and found them too soft on track, any opinions on this ??

Cheers

I got the Nitron 46mm 3-ways and DD my Cup260 with 550s in front and 750s in backā€¦ they actually feel softer than the Bilsteins. ā€¦ that was one of my best upgrades.

So many different options it to time consuming to type it all here
Give me a call and I will explain (also so new developments in the pipe line!!!)
