Upgrades

A few peeps will know my 240PP has a 260 upgrade + accusump fitted at lotus. I’ve also got the ohlins & m’sport ARB & rear track brace.

Since all that I find the car (after 2 years) is quicker than I am. It’s reliable, looks great, comfy & goes like stink. After 9000 miles all I’ve had to replace is some fluids & the front pads. I find it needs no modificaions whatsoever.

So the thing is…what is wrong with me?

I’ve stitched some very deep pockets in all my trousers. I’m trying to loose at least 3 stone. I quite like the Evora & even some of the new range look good. I liked the idea of Lotus Racing in F1. I’m still looking forward to the new Lotus Magazine. But still my car needs nothing.

What should I do?

just enjoy it Tim,trouble is the weather is crap roll on spring.

Hmmmmm good question Tim, clearly something is wrong with you. I’m not saying it’s not good to be different but every one knows what used to happen to the different kid at school.
Personally I would try bonding with your car, maybe you should wash it, sit with it, maybe even talk to it. Obviously don’t do the latter while anyone is watching.
Other than that I can’t help, I have nitrons and a proper intercooler and like everyone else realise its not Lotus racing in F1

You’re obviously unwell. Who wants to stop modding?!

A problem I frequently have with cars is that once I’ve stopped improving/modifying/fixing, I get bored and have to sell it.

I think you’ve reached that point, so the only way is to trade up to an S1, which has already been suggested and I concur with.

I don’t have a white pax suit, but i do have a pink fat suit :frowning:

Maybe i’ll mod that first.

Then I’ll see if Russt knows anyone who could offer driver training

Why not talk to Boothy? He can assist you in going “flat”

Tim

You could swap the crappy Lotus intercooler for the newly developed “George Forgeman” version. Then you could “toast” the sandwiches supplied by the Bestwicks at our next trackday, whilst you mince about in your pink fat suit.

LOL @ Pesky

Any mince would go right into the GF intercooler. Think of all the gravy we could make from the juices, & pour over some beef toasties. Yum :sunglasses:

Unfortunately may not have “Christine’s Trackday Tucker” available for Anglesey in April as Exiges day is on her birthday and I think if I request the usual sarnies the response could be painful.

Will see about a flask of gravy though

Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it
