Update on my woes (if anyone cares !!)

Well took the car to CN’s today and expected to get the ‘we can’t recreate the issue’ reponse but no !!!

My cutting out was due to a faulty battery isolator - found it in 5mins - result !!! only problem is they’re on back order

On the way back I popped in at the Bookatrack day at Outon - very quiet day by the looks of it. I noticed that the website stated that they do not allow ‘Radical’ style cars etc.

This must be the new Rover Metro then  http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm1/ChrisGT2008/Oulton26th.jpg

Glad to hear you’ve found the issue Chris. Not heard of that issue before happening at a certain rpm, is it a Cartek unit?

Hi Wes

Apparently is wasn’t just the the revs that was causing the issue. I think the high corning force was causing the connection to break
Not sure who makes the part - probably some cheap backstreet Japanese parts manufacturer

It’s not Cartek Wes althought years before we fitted them they had reliability issues…but hey how easy and cheap to replace can it be lol

Don’t remind me of that bloody wiring diagram! Hopefully fitting it was a one off job for me

not sure what you’ve read on our website that made you think we don’t allow aero-cars Chris but if there is something ambiguous on there i’d be grateful if you’d let me know what it is so I can get it updated.

open-wheeled (formula) cars are not allowed (due to the exposed wheels) - perhaps that’s it?

Hi Jonny

Maybe that was it - not a negative comment just a humerous one
Never done one of your days before and based on next year I’ll be doing a few by the looks of it and just wanted a nose around
