New fuel pump …

Ok the day I had my dyno done the figures were as per the graphs below, the BHP is at the hubs and on the day the other identcal cars made at least 240 at the hubs.
My car was the first on and if everyone recalls we used the leaf blower to cool the intercooler… then realised it was blowing hot air
At the time we put it down to that as every run lost more power but this was my best.
As I know nothing about AFR’s I do not know if its good or bad but I know John told me it was leaner than the others on the day.
How would I know if the fuel pump was running shy on fuel? All I know is it has the cup 260 pump and its about 12 months old.

To be honest, and this sounds like finger pointing and bad mouthing other places, but why does your car appear to have 629.4 lb/ft of torque??

If they can give you that on a piece of paper as fact, do you really want to be fussed by the others not being right???

Did I forget to say that I am talking about my panza tank

Its a good point, tbh I had not looked at that as I did not understand what the figure was however thats the non corrected hub figure graph and on the corrected figure the torque looks fine, I’ll post it up. I am guessing that as the graph looks the same its just the torque figures that went west.

This is the corrected graph from the same run, however I take these figures with a pinch of salt as dyno’s always seem to over correct and go high 226 hub is never 267 flywheel

Yea ,on the day they gave us two torque graphs ,the second one was corrected.

Fair enough.

Just so that this is straight in my mind, what is it you’re concerned about, cos I’m confused!!
That your 260 ECU gives 267 guestimated flywheel power, but you think is more like 250? 267 is 18% transmission losses, 260 is 15%, 250 is 11%
That your 260 ECU gives less power than someone elses 260 ECU?
That you car appears to run slightly lean?

What have CN’s said about your concerns??

Has anyone else got the hub and flywheel power graphs from that day? Or a link to them?

I’ll post mine in a jiffy … Got to switch pc on …

Mine on the same day.

Errr, what does the ratio mean at the bottom of the page?? If thats gear ratio, I think you have your differences??

Do you also have the one with the massive torque figure?

WGT. Is that Wild Guess Technology

No probs here with my factory 260 upgrade

Sorry mate couldnt resist…

Doh!! One dyno trace in 4th and one in 5th! No wonder they’re different! Look at the speeds in the bottom of the page 115 ish versus 140 ish.

Go home and write ‘must do dyno pulls in same gear to get a true comparison between 2 cars’ 100 times and give to Pesky in the morning!!

Tee Hee

lol … I wonder what bloody gear Marks was in then 1st? cos his was even more powerful

Here are mine from the same day:

Who knows, but I gaurantee thats why yours and Boothys are different figures. Do you have access to Marks?

Maybe WGT stands for What Gear Tested??

mmm, mine are not very clear will try and find a higher res version.
