Uniball toe-link assembly

I am going to fit this modification before the track season gets under way. I run the car mostly on the track (Nrburgring, Hockenheimring & Spa, eat your hearts out)and would like to run slicks at a later stage. So do I take the original Lotus kit or does anyone have a better tip or goog suggestion.Thanks.

Is it a track car only ? Then for the ulimate go to http://www.pilbeamracing.co.uk

Phil, No its not just a track car but it the road use at the moment is well under 20%.Thanks for the info. Do you have the kit fitted and is it from them?

No i dont have it [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image] i think you need a second mortgage if you want the Pilbeam suspension !!There are a couple of us on here that are making our own toe-link kit, well Andrew is making the rods and conical washers, we are buying the rod-ends and bolts and making the support plates. They are based on the Lotus and Eliseparts kit but a hellva lot cheaper !!

Philhave you ever been curious and asked the price?

SteveYou dont want to know the price !!!Andrew

No i haven’t but others who have, said its thousands !! 7-8K rings a bell

bloody hell…can’t quite see the value there, can’t think they’ve sold many sets either - never heard of anyone with them - maybe we could get a deal on 10 sets?

Oh come on. There must be someone out there with the Lotus kit, or any other for that matter fitted.Seeing as I dont yet wish to re-mortgage the wife, er house, (Sorry Astrid) then it has to be at an affordable price!Sean

I believe Simon Scuffham has Pilbeam set up.Cheers

Well this is just fantastic, I ask about the Lotus kit, or I thaught I did, and you all start talking about Pilbeam or get your Black & Decker workmate out and DIY. Love and cheers Sean

But you did say… quote: So do I take the original Lotus kit or does anyone have a better tip or goog suggestion.[/B]I just came up with a better tip and suggestion [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]Going back to just the toe-link kit there is either the Lotus one (cost unknown) or the Eliseparts one on http://www.eliseparts.com under the suspension section 299.95+VAT

Thats even better than a goog suggestion, that might even be called a good one!
