Tyre slip angle?

I’ve been reading Ross Bentley’s top book Speed Secrets.Naturally, he talks about tires and I was wondering if anybody knew the ideal slip angle range of A039 and any other technical characteristics. [If you weren’t aware, tires apparently have to slip slightly to gain their max grip - 6-10o on bends, 3-10% braking and accel.]Also, given the Exige has loads more feel than virtually anything, should I be able to feel the few degrees of slip through the wheel or by then have I moved beyond the maximum.Ta, Ian [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]
