22/24 on a 48lts, 23/25 on a 888gg (that’s back in the pits hot, not real time/end of pitlane hot).
A few peeps had the 48m’s on the french frolic the other week, they don’t last long do they?
I run similar as well 22\24 hot, very scary on the road when cold if you forget to up them after the day, as they are around 18-20 cold. I run 23 all round cold for normal day to day driving.
I used to run at 28 hot and tore the middle out of the rears and had really bad understeer so started to drop them till I was happy, though now they are a bit scary till they are hot
I’m the last person to advise on this having completely trashed a pair of 888’s in one day. But, now, I am running 22/25 cold on the road and ran 20/24 hot the other day which worked very well.
One of the guys on SELOC (might be on here, davejw) runs as low as 19 on the front and his lap times are not to be sniffed at. I tried 19/21 hot on an airfield day and it did help a bit but I’m not competant enough to really take advantage of it
It does depend on the car/driver/tyre pressure gauge though. I had someone at Donny tell me that according to telemetry their S lapped faster at 24/26 than 22/24 and that I was wrong to run lower. Didn’t stop me overtaking him every session though
I think i’d set my suspension a bit too stiff for my knackered tires and was spending too much time chuckling to myself to change it. Overdriving is so much fun though I might have to get some road tires.
Your car felt really planted as always Johnny, and a very consistent drive too.
Hope your leg gets better soon Damon.
