I don’t think i fully understand the part where it says “a new owner must tax the car when they buy it” Does that mean even if the original owner has paid for 12 months tax upfront and there is say, 6 months to run, that is just lost and the new owner must start paying from when they buy the car?
Sean - the seller reclaims the prepaid balance back from DVLA.
oh ok, so there is no way of passing on the remaining Tax to the new keeper?
