Yep, Oulton is mine & Russ’s local track Definately interested, but the TVR club office is closed at the weekend. So do you know if it is open pitlane or sessioned, max cars on the day, & is it on the full international circuit? Thanks in advance

Yes its the full international circuit and it was sessioned last year when I went with the TVRCC so I imagine it will be the same this time. I think there were 60 or 70 cars last year.

Bookatrack are holding an open pitlane event at Oulton on Tuesday 15th July (�175).
Maybe this would be a better option? I’d prefer to stay out for longer than 15mins plus come and go on track as I please.

Ok, I have provisionally booked on the BAT day, but this becomes difficult. I was planning to be on the 12th anyway down south, then it means that I don’t have to drive up and down again, but… what to do the 13 and 14th?
Could try to finally install the verniers and Emerald ECU and put it on the rollers during those days, but would Emerald or Dave do it quicker/easier? somebody else?
Phil (I know you’d do it yourself), but isn’t there anybody that does this easier? Then I’d have to be at the Emerald rollers anyway…

Mike, I’d really like to make Spa. Bit unsure of the logistics at present though as I have no trailer and will have to drive the SR3 there. How far is the drive from the ferry terminal (Rotterdam?) to the racetrack? If it’s less than 2/3hrs, that’ll be fine.
Will I get it on and off the ferry with the low ground clearance? I think it should be OK but not sure. Guess I could always build some sort of speed jump and leap onto the ferry Knightrider style.

Zeebrugge to Spa is only about 2-3 hours drive.
Don’t know about the ground clearance but I do remember that the ramp onto the ferry was quite long with no real abrupt changes.

Mike, what we waiting for then…let’s get this Spa thing booked! The track looks great and well worth the trip, even if I get fookin’ soaked on the way there whilst you’re cruising along in your Audi.
I take it we go from Rosyth (think the Ro… is where I got Rotterdam from - doh!) on the overnight ferry?
BTW, I assume just the Spa event? I don’t think I can spare the time for Dijon and Magny Cours before Spa. Three or four days away is about my limit.
A new trailer will take 4 weeks and cost me �2k plus for the BJ SR3 spec one so I’m gonna leave that until next year now and save some dosh.
Andy, I may go to Croft on Sat 19th July (Bookatrack -sesioned) and Donington GP (Aug 7th Evening - open pitlane!). Just provisional bookings at present though.

I wasn’t waiting, sorry - I’ve been booked up for weeks Only problem is that I’m doing a European Tour, Dijon then Magny Cours then a couple of days in Switzerland or Austria then a couple of days in the South of France then up to Spa.
What about Uldis and Rox making the trip too??
If you want to borrow a trailer to get there in comfort then I have a 5m long 2m wide tilting flat bed with 6’ long ramps which I rarely use (usually for transporting mini digger etc.)

Sorry folks - I have been up to my eyes in work recently and haven’t checked in on exiges.com for weeks so missed out on all these conversations - I spoke to ULDIS a few days ago and said I’d book up for OULTON with BOOKATRACK today but it’s fully subscribed so I blew that one … crappenzie. Sorry Pesky RussTy etc i would have loved to meet again - and I’m now really really keeen to see RussTy and his rising sun kamikaze.
This sounded like the best choice but as its now closed to me I will make arrangements for the TVR day.
