Tuner GP - Anyone going ?

OK so Tap and I have been working overtime to bring you the TunerGP photos within 24hours You can find the the gallery containing 249 shots at our website .

Once again, great day and well done chaps. I hope that those who could not make it get a sense of what they missed from the photos…

Ben & Tap

An excellent day out. Good to see so many familiar faces. It’s a shame it wasn’t so well advertised, because there was something for everyone.

Good to see the myriad of Lotus variants performing so well against the big money and track-special boys.

I was following the exploits of the Audi engined Elise/Exige through the day, and what an eventful day it was… from running out of fuel (needing towing back) to falling off the circuit (needing towing back) to a gearbox bolt going missing (cue: Bernard kneeling in the engine bay) and putting up a very respectable result considering the car hadn’t been mapped for the new exhaust system.

Brian Drought should have known better going in his “good clothes”… not before long he was elbow deep in engine oil ! Good man.

Now… if the blown-engine guys went down the same weight-loss route as the N/A Elise… that would result in something ferocious !

contemplating it, next year should be fun!

Heres the overall Lap Time list.
