Going to do my first track day next month probably at croft as its fairly local . Sure this is going to be an experience , done a bit of karting before but nothing in cars ha!
Can anyone recommend any track day insurers ?

Who you insured day to day with? CCI and HIC both gave me TD cover.
T
Ha I am with Sheilas Wheels !
I think they are just getting over the ruling they have to insure men as well , asking for track day cover would finish them off lol
Try CCI…but it won’t be cheap!
I know you dont have to have the insurance but dont think I could risk it !
switch quick to Henderson Taylor - probably cheaper and 6 free TD’s

Probably not quite that straightforward - needs to be 2nd car, limited mileage, age restriction etc , but worth enquiring
I’m with Henderson Taylor, my only car with unlimited mileage and I’m 25

Fair dos, I stand corrected, mate. OP needs to give Matt Taylor a ring
What you paying at 25 if you dont mind me asking ?
1K for 12months
Ill ge giving them a ring tommorrow . At 32 I am paying 996 with Sheilas Wheels and no possibility of track day cover. cheers
I’m 44 (cough ) and I pay 750 with an insured value of 40K but limited miles
I pay 430 with Heritage
unlimited track days covered with designated club ie. LOT but excess goes up to 2k while on track
limited to 5k per year ( I do about 3k)
they also insisted on a tracker
did an MSV trackday and they charged 60 as it was not my designated club
CCI was 610 for me including lot trackdays and all mods declared. I’m 27 now, but I was 26 wen I took the policy out a couple of months ago
Just been quoted 565 from Henderson Taylor with 6 track days included only requirement is they need 48 hours notice , jumping through hoops as we speak !!!
by by Sheila and my PINK insurance certificate your being cancelled !
I’m with Henderson Taylor, who I’ve been impressed by. Main problem is forgetting to phone them in advance!

Does the cover include commuting to & from work?
Yes, covers that but even if it did not it would be of for me as the exige is second car. Always wonder how they would prove you were commuting and not just going shopping etc …
Only downside I could find was that even though this is fully comp it does not give you the usual third party cover to drive other vehicles
