I’m guessing you guys wanted a cheap novice friendly day in that region in which case blyton and javelin are perfect but Cadwell’s only an hour away and it’s a much better track.

Agree with Scosh - Cadders is fantastic, & it’s a proper race circuit.

Most of us are already travelling 2 hrs to get there, but yes most are novices so good place to learn

mind drop to about 5mph on the way in the entry road has some mighty pot holes, though they did a good job refurbing the track itself

Yeah my parents live nearby so I have been a few times bit of weaving required ha ha

Just over an hour from me…tempted. Only thing is it’s the Wifes Birthday. Wonder if she’d like a trackday for her Birthday??

haha

A mate of mine bought his wife a set of 20" alloys for their Merc ML one year.

She did follow up nicely by buying him a bird table for his birthday though.

Take her out on the Saturday, plenty of wine and she will be hung over on the Sunday while you are at the track

LOL… I like the thinking on here  anyone else get a certain amount of satisfaction from getting one over on the missus? It never ceases to amaze me the sort of ‘modifications’ you can make that actually save you money by improving fuel economy

Haven’t made too many modifications to my Mrs

I have. I’ve given her a bump…

Ah but has she modified you Sean whilst you werent looking/didnt notice?

She has filled me with lots of yummy food, if that counts.

None of the fellow northern types considered Knockhill, good run out but days are cheap as chips , about 60-70 ?

One of the local guys who has done a few days with Javelin arranged it with them, Croft would have been ideal just too quiet there

yeah I doubt whether my exige with TRD airbox and Stage 2 would get past the noise police at croft

Measured mine with a TRD and Larini Club Sport last weekend at 3/4 revs and half a meter it was reading 111db so got to switch back to the standard back box

Bump

Still places left if anyone fancies it
