Full set of R888s for 360 in S1 Exige sizes if anyone is interested.
Anyone ran these tyres on here before? I understand they’re supposed to be as good as the AO48s. What if I run R888s on the front and continue with the AO48s on the rear?
Mix n match. Why not? People mix and match brakes?
Performance difference isn’t supposed to be that great, no different to worn tyres on the front and new on the back I wouldn’t have thought.

It’s not the performance difference, it’s their changing behaviour with temperature, not only the rubber, but the sidewalls.
At least if they are matched, they will change together.
One thing for sure, if you mix&match, you’ll be wondering what happened on that spin, it will just not feel intuitive, because the front/rear grip will change from lap tp lap as they warm up.
And let’s not talk about rain
Depending upon future feedback, I may well get a set of the Toyos for roaduse, but for now I’ve already got a new set of 48s on my spare rims.

That’s what I’m planning on doing… AO48s are far too expensive to munch up on the roads! Feel you get better value by munching them up on track instead!
